Back To The Classroom(s)

Mark was the first to head off to school this year. However Things are little different for the boy this year! He is starting his first year of college! Saturday he set up his ‘home’ for the school year at Missouri S & T in Rolla, Missouri.

Krista sad to say Goodbye to the Boy!

Sunday, Kate packed up at headed north of the river and moved in at William Jewell College in Liberty Missouri. This looks to be her final year as an undergrad. She is looking to wrap things up in just three years!

Shelby went Back to Truman University in Kirksville, Missouri on Tuesday. We are thinking she is glad to get back to school, it will be a nice break from the two jobs she tackled this summer! This is her second year at Truman

Shariden also went back to school on Tuesday. She started her Sophomore year at Carrollton High School. Back to school for Shariden means Softball Season is underway!

It will be interesting to see  What the new school year holds in store for not only the kids……but for the adults as well!

We Have a lot to catch up on!

Amazing how time flies!  From the look of things, We have not posted anything since October of 2012.  Here it is already February 17, 2014.  The passing of time became obvious when Scott started focusing on updating his personal website ScottPowellonline.com

It’s hard to tell where we should start.  So we will just pick one event and fill in around it.  We will start with Scott’s Daughter graduating High School and going off to College!

Shelby @ Truman State

Shelby Graduated from Carrollton High School Sunday, May 19th, 2013. She spent the summer working as a Life Guard at the community pool.  When not at the pool, you could find her behind the cash register at (retail store)  Shopko.   She had a very busy summer!

August 17th, 2013 was move in day at her  school of choice, Truman State University located at Kirksville, Missouri.   Truman State is just far enough away that she can get her taste of freedom, while still close enough to come home most weekends.  Her interests right now are in Exercise Sciences.    At the beginning of her 2nd semester she has accumulated enough hours to have Sophomore status!
