We are winding down from an enjoyable day out around Herman, Missouri
A Good Part of the day was spent at Stone Hill Winery. Took the tour, sampled all they had to offer, then enjoyed a nice lunch at the restaurant. And Yes we filled up the trunk with several bottles of their best. Now of Course Stone Hill wine is widely available across the region, but it was fun to actually buy it where it is bottled
A short drive from Stone Hill is another wonderful winery, The Adam Puchta Winery . It is the oldest Family Farm Winery in the State of Missouri. This discreet little out of the way winery actually offered us some fantastic sampling! their wines are very good and very reasonable in price! Again, their wines are available across the region, but we just had to buy some from the source!
A quick nap was in order after these two visits, then back out again!
This afternoon we walked over to the Tin Mill Brewery . The Tour is self guided, so it lacked a little/alot of information, but “the brew” they produce made up for it. Always like to try something new!
To wrap up the day we had some pretty decent wings at a local restaurant “Wings A-Blazin” then out for another walk around the side streets of Hermann.
Oh before we wrap up, and especially for our friends not on Face book, here is a Link to some pictures taken today
It’s been a good day!
Thanks for checking up on us!
